University Lacrosse Officer

National-level sporting administration

Supported university lacrosse beyond the operation of a single club, communicating with university lacrosse communities and contributing to the organisation and development of the sport at university level.

This broadened my experience of stakeholder engagement, cross-organisation communication and strategic thinking, requiring me to consider issues from a wider national perspective rather than solely from the needs of one team or institution.

Crew Member — McDonald's

Worked in a fast-paced, customer-focused operational environment, balancing customer service, food preparation, procedures and teamwork during busy periods. The role strengthened my ability to remain organised and accurate under pressure while maintaining service, safety and quality standards.

Working within a large operational team also developed my understanding of how standardised processes, clear communication, reliability and individual accountability contribute to wider organisational performance.
